Sauce Labels

Woodfire and Green are an artisan kitchen located in the heart of Sandyford, Dublin. Their team of chefs have been designing unique flavours using the finest and freshest of ingredients for over 20 years.
They are currently working with the Bord Bia Irish Food Board and the Grow with Aldi initiative to bring their delicious range of sauces to market in Aldi stores on a national scale.
Brandpack were tasked with designing and printing the sauce labels for the tubs, with the design spec of creating custom labels for their 3 sauce offerings (Wing, Burger and Blue Cheese) with a modern, colourful look for each sauce, whilst retaining their artisan and local brand appeal.
The tubs were printed with food safe inks, and a polypropylene material with standard adhesive was selected for the labels. Polypropylene is a durable and highly water and chemical resistant label material, with storage temperatures ranging from -40 to 80 degrees Celsius, making it an ideal choice for food labeling. Polypropylene labels are available in white, clear gold and silver, with adhesive options ranging from standard acrylic formulations to strong rubber based adhesives. Polypropylene can be finished with spot or flood gloss or matt varnish or lamination if required.
The tub lids were printed in clear polypropylene, with a viewing window through the transparent tub and label. A great idea to enable potential buyers to view the colouful sauces within. A white underpin was printed before the CMYK colours, to ensure opacity on the printed areas. The tub bases were printed on white polypropylene with a shape arc to accommodate the custom tub diameter.
